Meet Mrs. Bricker
About Mrs. Bricker
Mrs. Bricker was
born in Michoacán, Mexico. She is the
second oldest of six siblings, her youngest brother is four. She has
lived in Dallas since she was three years old.
Ever since she can remember she had dreamed of becoming a teacher. Her greatest role models where her parents for ingraining in her that education was power and her TEACHERS for giving her the power by educating her. She has been in education her whole life, as a kid she would play school with her sibling and stuff animals. In middle school she volunteered at The Science Place in the Kids Place area and as an assistant in the winter/spring/ summer camps. In high school she was in the Child Care Cluster which included planning menus, cooking, planning lessons and both teaching and assisting in the school preschool. After graduating high school she worked as a Spanish Teaching Assistant at The Science Place Preschool in Fair Park for three year while attending Richland Community College full time. In the fall of 2007 she became a Teacher Assistant at Nathan Adams while attending Texas A&M-Commerce full time. She graduated from TAMU-Commerce in 2009 with a Bachelor in Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Bilingual Education. This is here fifth year as a Bilingual Teacher at Nathan Adams she is currently the teacher in KE and has previous taught 2nd grade. She has been the Student Council Sponsor, Social Studies PLC Chair, CATCH coordinator. She is currently the Real School Garden Coordinator and the Gardening Armadillos Sponsor. Mrs. Bricker has been married to her husband Mike for eight years. They have two beautiful children Keith (6) and Loriann (3). In her spare time she enjoys taking pictures, scrapbook, baking, cooking, crafting, running and doing ZUMBA. She is an active member in her church and in the DPAS . Favorite Quote:
